As we could hardly play LIVE for the last 15 months, we used the time to record new songs in the studio. The upcoming CURRAO album will be full of Ska, Reggae and Pop to dance along and will be released this summer 2021. We want YOU to be the first to hold it in your hands before we take it along with us on our TOUR (pandemic permitting) and present it to more listeners. There are a lot of amazing guest musicians and singers who collaborated to provide the vagabond spirit we love so much!
We’ve been playing LIVE together in this band constellation for 5 years now and new songs emerged that we would finally like to put on a full-length album, so that you can dance to our music whenever and wherever you feel like. For the final financing we need your support and we would be happy to have you on board joining the Currao family by joining this Crowdfunding campaign.
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
We want to finish the mixing and mastering of our upcoming new album with 11 songs. As a supporter of our campaign you will be the first to get the physical album as a CD before its digital publication. The CD is basically an item that will be with us at gigs or tours, such as our crazy European street tour we are planning for this summer. You should have it beforehand as a true Curao fan!
Why would you support this project?
Those who know us well and came to one of our concerts know: we love transmitting the fun we have ourselves on stage to our audience in order to celebrate music and good vibes together. As long as this isn‘ t really possible, you should at least have the chance to listen to our songs. If you don‘ t know us yet, check our youtube channel: www.youtube.com/c/TomCurrao Due to the pandemic our plan to finance the album production with the help of our concerts was of course destroyed. As a supporter you will become part of the CURRAO-following fun crowd and we will alwys be grateful for that !!! You will of course be able to choose from an amazing list of cool rewards, which you will find in the list.
How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
We have already financed part of the album production but we are now reaching our limits. Your support will contribute to the financing of the following costs:
If we reach our first goal: - Costs for mixing and mastering (fine tuning = sound!) - Part of the costs for studios including sound engineers - Photos, layout for CD Cover art - Printing oft he actual physical CD
If we reach the next additional step, we will be able to finance parts of our tour costs this summer (pandemic permitting) and we will be able to pay for a professional documentary filmmaker
Ps: If we don‘ t reach the funding aim, you will of course be given back the full amount of your money according tot he rules of this crowdfunding.
