What is this project all about?

Making music on a high level without the support of a record label is hard and most of all expensive. I'm sure my music could mean a lot to many people. But therefore I have to record it professionally first and distribute it. You can help me with this by supporting my crowdfunding and spreading the word - tell all your friends, relatives and followers.

What is the project goal and who is the project for?

The goal is to prefinance at least a part of the production costs. The target audience is everyone who likes music and likes to explore eclectic music between singer-songwriter, rock and even blues and jazz.

Why would you support this project?

Especially when you have family and aren’t a full-time musician it is hard to implement your musical dreams and visions. As usual it is expensive if you want to do something really good but the family mustn’t suffer from this. So if you want to support self-made music you’re dead right here.

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?

The money will go completely into te recordings at the Art of June studio in Frankfurt as well as the mastering, the artwork for the CD-cover and the duplication in he pressing plant. Furthermore we’ll probably make T-shirts if the supporters oft he crowdfunding are interested.

Who are the people behind the project?

Hendrik Heuser, singer, keyboarder and songwritrer as well as lyricist of the Futile Project. I studied musicology at the Johannes Gutenberg-University in Mainz, where I met my band colleagues Rainer Schrecklinger and Thiemo Klaas. Double-bass player Ina Burger is also a professional musician and is part of the Futile Project since 2013.
