I am Hallam London. Next year my new album “Be Yourself in 11 Easy Lessons” will be released. End of Days is kind of lesson number 10: Sometimes you get desperate and ask yourself: Why am I doing this? But then you find something that gives you new momentum. The video for End of Days marks a new beginning for me: new band, new show, new outfit! Now I need your support to make it happen!
With your support, I want to make a music video for my next single End of Days. The song is recorded, mixed and ready for its single release on 21 January 2022 – only the video is still missing!
We want to shoot at the Tonne in Dresden. The video will show my new band and me on stage, with an audience in the hall. One day of shooting is planned in December 2021, followed by editing and the production of fancy teasers.
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
On the one hand, the video is meant to give the song a perfect visual representation, and on the other hand, it marks a new beginning for me: It’s the first artistic steps into the world that I’m taking together with my new band, so that soon I can stand on the big stages for you.
So if you like handmade indie rock and post-punk – always a bit off the beaten track but still catchy – and think that this music shouldn’t just be streamed on headphones but sweated and experienced live, you’ve come to the right place.
Why would you support this project?
End of Days is a new start for me … with a new band, a new show and a new look. Of course, it’s not possible to do all this professionally and beautifully for free: so with the money raised here, the project would take off. If you support the video production, you help a promising indie rock project on its way.
How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
The money will be used to finance the entire production of the video, from preparation to shooting and editing. The many great people involved will receive an appropriate fee: director, director of photography, production manager, make-up artist, lighting technician, photographer, band, and actors. In addition, there are costs for transport … and of course a full day of shooting without food for everyone is not an option.
Who are the people behind the project?
Show designer and performance coach Nicole Wiese, who strongly supports me beyond the video and has already worked on the show with me, will direct. Philip Brehmer from Ballroom Booking will be the production manager, Carsten Ress is the man behind the camera, make-up artist Stephanie Zimmermann will ensure the perfect look and style of those on stage, Tom Hornuff will be there as a runner and social media expert, and photo documentation is provided by Paddy Patt.
In front of the camera and with me on stage is my new band with Leo Endruweit (bass guitar), Fabian Buchenau (drums) and Johnny Zielke (guitar).
