What is the project goal and who is the project for?
People who still are able to enjoy sound, art_efacts and rituals.
Why would you support this project?
Besides the obvious facts that you help to support the development process of a special record and great soundart to come in public for getting a high quality artefact, most interesting point is the possibility to prove, that niche music can be financed using crowdfunding in Germany with worldwide friends. If this works it can be a good motivation for others. Letting records press is always a financial risk nowadays. With crowdfunding this 'risk' can be shared via members, friends and fans. In fact, the risk would be go away then, what is quite motivating. And you can prove, that it is possible.
How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
All of this money goes directly into the process of letting the records press, in Leipzig. Besides this we need money for postage and some promo send outs.
Who are the people behind the project?
DS-X.org is a group in Dresden, active in the fields of music and events for over ten years. Close connection to and participation in many other cultural activities in Dresden and the world, e.g. CYNETART, phonocake.org, Trans-Media-Akademie Hellerau, Tandem, ... The music releases are initiated by Thomas Dumke and Ulf Langheinrich, organizer is parmon of phonocake.org, Matthias Härtig is the Design Coordinator.
