A documentary about encounters between two borders
Sabine and Olli, a couple for decades and married, are on the Pacific Crest Trail for almost 8 months. 4,279 km across the wilderness from the Mexican-American border to Canada. They have met hikers from all over the world along the way. What drives people to take these steps and what does it do to them? For the film, the couple interviewes some of the protagonists again three years later. A film about people whom the trail has changed, a film about dreams, hopes, respect and understanding.
