PARANORMAL ACTIVITY meets FRIDAY THE 13TH when an international group of ghost hunters finds a disturbing video clip on the internet which seems to contain poltergeist phenomena. Agreed that it’s just what they need for their latest documentary project the group travels to the place shown in the video clip. Once there, they rig up their camera equipment and start to explore the possible ghostlike activities... until the true horror begins!

What is this project all about?

PARANORMAL DEMONS is a mix of found footage films like Paranormal Activity, The Blair Witch Project and REC combined with the content of iconic slasher films such as Friday the 13th, Halloween and A Nightmare on Elm Street.

What is the project goal and who is the project for?

It’s a film for horror fans made by horror fans.
With a background of genre filmmaking, now 26-year old director David Brückner (Iron Wolf, Dead
Survivors) wants to make a horror film (which will be his third, but the first in English) totally uncut for the international audience. In an attempt to bring fans from all over the world together, Brückner wants his vision to come to life without the help from any larger production and distribution companies. Instead he has chosen to use Startnext crowdfunding in hopes to make PARANORMAL DEMONS an exciting and 100% hardcore horror film of its own kind.

Why would you support this project?

Mit PARANORMAL DEMONS möchte der Regisseur David Brückner unabhängig von Produzenten und Verleihern einen eigenen und neuen Film entwickeln dessen Art es so noch nicht gab. Er entschied sich für eine Finanzierung über Startnext da er so seine Vision völlig frei - ohne irgendwelche Einschränkungen ausleben kann.
Das Team besteht aus einer Vielzahl von bekannten Künstlern aus der Film- und Comicbranche.
Das Posterdesign entstand z.b. von Eddy Graphic & Design (https://www.facebook.com/graphic.eddy) der unteranderem die Designs zu RAW und SEED 2 beisteuerte. Oder dem Comickünstler David Füleki (https://www.facebook.com/fueleki) der uns einen eigenen neuen Monsterlook designen wird und sogar die Vorgeschichte in Comicform beisteuert.
des Weiteren arbeiten an diesem Projekt Kostümdesigner, SFX Künstler, Kamera und Tonleute sowie VFX Spezialisten aus ganz Deutschland um diese Vision umsetzen zu können.

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?

The cast and crew all work for incentive pay, that will say for free. Nonetheless there are a lot of other costs for this project to be put in action, such as:
 Rent of production equipment
 Special effects (practical wounds/blood/gore)
 Professional post-production VFX
 Professional sound production
 Fares and accommodation costs for cast and crew
 Catering for 2 weeks of shooting
 Rent and electricity costs for the shooting locations
 Designs for posters and DVD cover
The goal is to try and collect 6000 EURO (approximately 8000 US Dollars). If we succeed, or even exceed the budget, we will pay an American Hollywood guest star that would play a larger role in the film.
So this is your chance to help this film come to life and in that way be part of a unique project. Everyone who helps out will get one of the mostly highly limited “thanks”: from your name in the credits, access to

the making of-material, guest appearance in the film or even as a supporting actor with lines, DVD/Blu-ray, original props.

Who are the people behind the project?

The team behind the project consists of both well-known names from the film and comic book industry as well as some new promising faces.
The award winning director David Brückner has previously made two feature films (Iron Wolf and Dead Survivors) and more than hundred shorts films, that has gotten some attention outside of Germany with releases both in England, Japan, Thailand, the Netherlands and even in the United States.
Comic artist David Füleki, who invented the popular character Entoman, will help out with designing some original new monsters for PARANORMAL DEMONS.

Nun geht es weiter - jeder weitere € geht in die Qualität des Films. Das heißt noch bessere Kameratechnik, ein größeres Team, besseres Catering (Wichtig für die Moral!) und natürlich noch bessere Special Effects, Masken und Requisiten.
Und wie versprochen, erreichen wir die 6000€ holen wir uns auch einen Hollywood Darsteller für eine Gastrolle ins Boot! :)
