We see a need to catch up in terms of sustainability. The desire for sustainable food is growing and the environmental awareness of consumers is increasing. Climate and environmental problems must be tackled urgently. We believe that insects contribute to the solution.

We want to contribute to making edible insects part of a healthy and sustainable diet in Europe. That is why we have set ourselves the goal of bringing insects from the farm to the plate. At the beginning we want to convince people with snacks. Our crackers are easy to integrate into everyday life and offer a good and tasty introduction to eating insects. In the medium term we want to start breeding the insects.

Together we want to reach 30 million curious people in Germany and convince them of our insect snacks.

Who is interested in our snacks:
Sustainability and nutrition-conscious professionals between 25 and 35 years of age, who...

• live in urban centers
• often eat out, hardly ever cook for themselves & often reach for snacks in everyday work
• eat a balanced diet & eat meat a maximum of three times a week
• shop in the supermarket and occasionally in organic food stores
• have a fixed income that on average exceeds 45.000€ per year
regularly do sports, travel to distant countries, have a culinary interest & are socially very active

• like to share their experiences & follow social media

• Insects represent a sustainable alternative to protein- and nutrient-rich nutrition
