iGEM Vienna Open Source Robocrop

Ein non-Profit Wettbewerb für Studenten weltweit in synthetischer Biologie, um die Wissenschaft gemeinsam weiter voran zu treiben.

Wir wollen heuer beim iGEM Wettbewerb im Bereich der synthetischen Biologie ausgehend vom MIT in Boston teilnehmen. Ziel bei diesem Open Source Projekt ist es, sogenannte Biobricks herzustellen, welche dann für alle zugänglich sind und von jedem flexibel genutzt werden können. Wir sammeln Geld um einerseits unsere Laborarbeit (Laborbedarf usw...) zu finanzieren und andererseits um unser Projekt dann in Boston am MIT vor ein Jury präsentieren können.

Zu dem iGEM-Projekt gehört auch, dass wir die Finanzierung selbst in die Hand nehmen müssen. Deswegen sind wir auf Sponsoren und Spenden angewiesen.
