Im März 2020 haben wir es geschafft, mit unserem Verein Freundeskreis Scala Kulturpalast, Werder e.V. mit Hilfe der Stiftung Trias und der Stadt Werder das Haus vor einer Versteigerung zu bewaren und dem Besitzer abzukaufen. Nun ist dieses einmalige, denkmalgeschützte Gebäude für die nächsten Jahrzehnte vor Spekulationen geschützt und als Kino und Veranstaltungshaus gerettet. Nun bringt die Convid-19 Virus Krise den erfolgreichen Betreiber in finanzielle Probleme...
