The Hirsch Effekt: A movie about the upcoming tour in September 2012

The Hirsch Effekt are going on tour from 17th till 29th of September. It will be the release tour of their upcoming album HOLON : ANAMNESIS. During the last 4 days of tour the filmmaker Michael Vogelmann will be shadowing them. Besides the documentary part of the movie (about the ups and downs of a DIY-tour) the highlight of the movie will contain some great live footage.

What is this project all about?

The Hirsch Effekt will release their second album HOLON : ANAMNESIS on 31th of august, 2012. The release tour is set from 17th - 29th september.The tour will take the band to Marburg, Reutlingen, Nürnberg, Ludwigshafen, Frankfurt/Main, Munich, Freiburg, Karlsruhe, Cologne, Oberhausen, Leipzig and of course to Berlin. The last third of the tour (from Cologne to Berlin) will include the partaking and attendance of Michael Vogelmann. His task is to capture our ups and downs, our mourning and dancing, the yelling and the howling, the screaming and the shouting and all the beauty and ugliness of a tour you manage almost all by yourself. See, we have no driver...or a tour manager (or a hotel or whatever...). And he'll capture some live footage on stage! Some of the material will be underlayed by a live recording session, which is going to take place on september 29th in the Lala-Studios, in Leipzig.

What is the project goal and who is the project for?

We want to rejoice ourselves and the people who come to our concerts and support us. The project will turn out a great memento for us and at the same time, a sort of behind-the-scenes-thing for our fans and friends.
We will release the movie on DVD-R: autographed in a hand-painted cardboard-slipcase (by our bassist Ilja). So each copy is unique! You will get access to this edition only here as a reward if you support us with 12 €.

Why would you support this project?

We invested a lot of money into the studio costs of our upcoming album HOLON : ANAMNESIS and are simply blank and missing the money. We can't and don't want to make money with the movie so we're also not able to refinance it. But if every one gives a small support to this project we will be able to bring it to life!

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?

We will rent some video equipment (mainly cameras...) for 5 days and pay Michael's train ticket to Cologne and back home. Also, we will make it possible for him to do the cutting under professional circumstances.

Wer noch nicht hat ;-)

Wir halten Startnext für seriös. Dennoch kommt immer wieder die Anfrage, ob es auch möglich ist den Film zu beziehen, ohne sich bei Startnext anzumelden. Es gibt die Möglichkeit deine Spende als Gast (unter Punkt2) zu tätigen und deine Spende anonym zu tätigen (unter Punkt 7). Aber vollkommen richtig ist, dass du dennoch sowohl deinen Namen (auch wenn er im Internet nicht öffentlich erscheint) angeben musst und - wenn du den Film bestellen möchtest - sogar deine Adresse, die dann per Startnext an uns weitergeleitet wird. Aber auch hier gibt es die Möglichkeit Startnext gar nichts über dich zu verraten (lediglich uns, damit wir dir den Film schicken können) und uns dennoch per Startnext zu helfen. Wir haben unser Mindestbudget dank den vielen Supportern erreicht und werden den Film auf jeden Fall umsetzen können.Wir haben außerdem mit Michael Vogelmann gesprochen:Bei 1400€ kommt er nicht nur am Ende, sondern auch am Anfang der Tour mit uns mit!Es liegt also auch in eurer Hand wie geil der Film wird!Danke soweit,die Hirsche.
