Ugly Utopia

A phantastic webseries about ecology, shamanic rituals and psychedelic dreams.

The wise shaman and medicine-man tells the adolecent Uma Gunga about a creature, that lives in the depths of the jungle. Fascinated and curious Uma Gunga sets out for the forrest here he is eventually bitten by the small, hairy monster. He falls into a trance and has a vision of a beautiful light-being, floating towards him. But suddenly he regains consciousness and notices that the creature has woven him into a cocoon in order to devour him. A western scientist frees Uma Gunga and catches the creature in order to synthesize a drug out of it, to which the entire world slowly succumbs. Uma Gunga now has to head into civilization in order to see the apparation from his vision again.

Our goal is to create a webseries with beautiful hypnotic dream sequences and breathtaking nature shots. We are an independent production by choice, interested in visual experiments and exceptional plots.

Our target group are people that are interested in thrilling series, indeginous cultures, mystery and adventure films. People with a heart for nature as well as fantastical farytales that are open to new things.
