Restart Europe
Restart Europe is a campaign that puts European projects in the spotlight and rallies people to shape the future of Europe together — through crowdfunding.
This campaign gives projects with a European perspective the momentum, reach and support they need right now. The future of Europe isn't built in debates alone — it grows out of projects that bring people and communities together.
Crowdfunding makes this possible as a democratic way of financing: many people contribute together, ideas gain visibility, and European cooperation happens on the ground.
We connect Europe's cultural diversity — its origins, identities and perspectives — and turn it into something new. We see Europe as a big cultural playground: artefacts stand for different cultures, and out of this togetherness, we're starting fresh — to discover, to share, and to take part.
What's it about?
With Restart Europe we want to:
Make European projects visible and tell their stories
Activate people to take part — back projects, share, submit ideas, or start your own
Open Startnext for all of Europe: During the Europe quarter, we're gradually internationalising the platform. This includes automatic translations of project pages for your target audience, settings for international shipping, and the option to launch from any European country.
Launch with a discount: During the campaign period, you get at least 35% off the Pro and Premium plans.

You get 35% off the Startnext success fee when you launch on the Pro or Premium plan. This significantly reduces the cost of a successful campaign — and gives you access to support and services that help you launch.

The code is valid for all eligible projects that launch between 1 May and 31 July 2026.
Participation criteria
We reserve the right to reject projects if the European focus isn't clearly recognisable or if content goes against our guidelines.
Who can take part?
To keep things fair, a few criteria apply:
Your project has a clear European focus (cross-border perspective, European culture or community, democracy and participation, exchange, cooperation, social impact).
The European focus is clearly described on the project page (goal, benefit, context).
The project complies with Startnext's general principles and legal requirements.
The project launches within the campaign period (i.e. enters the funding phase during this time).

Does the discount also apply to existing projects?
The code is valid for projects that launch within the campaign period. See "Participation criteria" for details.
Which projects qualify as "Restart Europe"?
What matters is that your project addresses Europe at its core — not just as a side note. Clearly explain why your project has European impact (topic, audience, partnerships, story, community).
Can I combine the offer with other discounts?
No.
What happens if the project content changes during the funding phase?
If the focus changes significantly, the discount may be removed.
Is there support / consulting?
Yes. We offer a weekly Office Hour in English. All other content and support formats are in German. For now, we operate in German and English only
