Wir wollen das erste offene und freie elektronische Schulbuch Deutschlands publizieren - ohne Verlage, ohne Urheberrecht, alles frei zu verwenden und zu kopieren (unter der Creative Commons-Lizenz CC BY). Als Pilotprojekt ist ein Biologiebuch für die Klassenstufe 7/8 geplant, das im Schuljahr 2013/2014 vorliegen soll. Die meisten Inhalte werden bundesweit im Biologieunterricht der Sekundarstufe I verwendet werden können.
