Another Sound Is Possible!

We are a group of Leipzig DJs, bookers, event planners, artists, and musicians who have organized countless parties in many locations and we’re ready to open up our own club according to our own vision.
And we already have found the perfect location! But what we still need: an adequate sound system optimally designed for our space. In this regard – in your interests as well as ours – we refuse to accept any subpar alternatives, and this is why we need your support!

Our club will reach beyond the confines of house and techno and will be a space used for live concerts, experimental music showcases, art exhibitions, performances, and lectures. To us it’s not only the music and cultural events that are important, but to create a space in which an open, creative, and tolerant cooperation can thrive – something that people unfortunately can’t find in many clubs.

In short, we want to make our vision a reality: to establish a club encompassing everything we long for a club to offer, without any compromises.

This startnext campaign should finance part of the Kirsch Audio sound system we need. With your help, we will have our club up-and-running in Autumn 2013, starting right off with a fresh line up and incredible sound that will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on our guests. We will strive to create a space where people can party excessively and without having to encounter intolerance, all in an environment that facilitates the opportunity for collaboration and personal growth.

Our target audience is made up of exactly those people who know the importance of approaching others with respect and are ambitious to breathe new life into the club scene.

Those who know their way around nightlife in Leipzig know that there is no shortage of venues here. At the same time most of them are working with concepts that don’t reflect our aesthetic and musical interests. Alongside the music any successful party requires creative interior design and a well-configured sound system.
Based on the enthusiastic feedback received after organizing our own parties, we’ve discovered that we’re not the only ones who long for a new club in Leipzig with an alternative concept.

The 30,000€ earned as a result of a successful Startnext campaign is half of the investment of the Kirsch Audio sound system and will be put directly toward the purchase. The more we earn above the 30,000€ mark the more of the already existing money can be invested in other departments of the construction of the club.

The purchase and installment of the sound system is just one part of the preparation for the opening of our new club. We already developed a whole design for all rooms with our architect which fits our expectations perfectly. Besides that we interviewed members of different departments of local authorities and turned in evaluations of statics, fire safety and noise prevention to implement their critics in our concept. Because of this we anticipate a positive feedback from local authorities about the permission. At the moment we form the personal structure for the running club and we prepare the construction work, starting in May 2013.
