Intermediate states, intermediate worlds and intermediate nuances have always inspired artists, in self-analysis, in the analysis of the times, in dealing with love and death. In this vein, Johannes Brahms leads us in his Abenddämmerung (Twilight of the evening) to a sensual experience that reaches far beyond temporality.
