Testgetriebene Entwicklung (engl. Test-Driven Development - TDD) gehört zum Handwerkszeug jedes modernen Softwareentwicklers. Leider gibt es kein halbwegs aktuelles deutschsprachige Buch zum Thema. Zu den Gebieten Datenver- und entschlüsselung und deren Einsatz in Softwaresystemen gibt es einiges an deutscher Literatur - nur gelesen wird sie von Softwareentwicklern wenig. Das Projekt möchte beide Themen in einer praktischen Einführung kombinieren.

Wie sehen die TDD-Vorreiter von vor 15 Jahren die testgetriebene Entwicklung heute? Das hat mich auch interessiert und daher habe ich sie angesprochen und befragt - einige schriftlich, andere mündlich. Diese "Inteviews" werden auch im Buch auftauchen - und vermutlich zum Teil bereits vorher auf meinem Blog. Verraten darf ich schon, dass Ron Jeffries und Steve Freeman ihre heutige Sicht auf TDD formulieren; wer noch dabei ist bleibt erstmal geheim.
