90 Grad Nord wins at Busan and Corti da Sogni
April continued to be an excellent month for 90 Grad Nord. Our monster has taken home two prizes in the past fortnight; the Busan Cinephile Award at BISFF in South Korea and the European Sogni Award for Fiction at “Corti da Sogni - Antonio Ricci” in Italy. A huge thank you to both festivals and their teams for hosting such incredible events. Sadly we weren’t quite able to make it to South Korea but another huge thanks to Marianne Graffam for representing us in Italy! We also received an Honourable Mention at the cellu l’art film festival, thank you to the event organisers in Jena - the festival was huge fun.
We are also happy to announce that we will be in competition at Art Film Fest, which - after 23 years of running in Trencianske Teplice - will now be hosted in Kosice, Slovakia this June. Looking forward to exploring the city, which was named the European capital of culture in 2013, as well as the chance to see some more exciting films! 90 Grad Nord will also be heading to Barcelona in October, as we are in competition for the FILMETS Badalona Film Festival 2016!
