Update I
Even though we have not shared many updates in the last few months, we continue to work intensively on our film. The treatment/exposé is complete and we are still working on obtaining further funding from foundations, so that we – among other things - might be able to take a soundwoman/soundman with us on the production.
We are already in contact with many innovative organisations and experts who are dealing with alternative approaches to increased border control and who have agreed to become part of the film. Some projects and conferences which we plan to include in the film will take place later in the year, which is why the production will be spread over the year 2019. So far we are planning to travel to Uganda, Canada, Togo, England, the Netherlands and Germany to talk to NGOs and experts, including people affected by the recent border and migration policies.
We're not the biggest social media freaks, but we will send you updates from time to time and keep you up to date, especially next year when the shooting continues.

Auch wenn es in den letzten Monaten still geworden ist, arbeiten wir weiter intensiv an unserem Film. Das Treatment/Exposé steht und wir bemühen uns noch um weiteres Funding durch Stiftungen – sodass wir u.a. vielleicht auch einen Tonmann/ eine Tonfrau mit auf die Produktion nehmen können.
Wir sind bereits in Kontakt mit vielen spannenden Organisationen und ExpertInnen, die sich mit alternativen Ansätzen zur Abschottungspolitik auseinandersetzen, und zugesagt haben Teil des Films werden zu wollen. Einige Projekte und Konferenzen, die wir gerne filmisch begleiten würden, finden erst später im Jahr statt, weshalb sich die Dreharbeiten über das Jahr 2019 verteilen werden. Wir planen bisher nach Uganda, Kanada, Togo, England, Niederlande und Deutschland zu reisen um dort mit NGOs und ExpertInnen, einschließlich durch die Abschottungspolitik selbst betroffenen Personen, zu sprechen.
Wir sind nicht die größten Social-Media Freaks, aber werden ab und an Updates schicken um euch auf dem Laufenden zu halten, vor allem wenn es nächstes Jahr dann weiter geht mit den Dreharbeiten.
