Kassel entwickelt sich. Reisende und Studenten kommen vermehrt. Aus den Bewertungen unserer Hotelgäste entnehmen wir demgegenüber häufig eine negative Außensicht auf das Schillerviertel zwischen Kulturbahnhof und Universität: „The immediate neighborhood is dirty, ugly, poor and some people look creepy.“ Dem stellen wir etwas Gewichtiges in den Weg. Unsere Kunstsäulen bilden konsumfreie Blickfänge, die in einem schwierigen Viertel positive Lebendigkeit kreieren.

gestern waren wir zu Gast in der Ortsbeiratssitzung und haben die Kasseler Kunstsäulen mit Konus vorgestellt. Der Beamer hatte keinen Sound - so konnten wir unseren Stummfilm direkt neu kommentieren. Und - der Ortsbeirat begrüßt unser Vorhaben. Und - der Ortsbeirat will sich bei der Begrünung der Konusse einbringen . . .
