Every two years the guitar society in Weimar organizes this competition for young guitarists up to 20 years old.
The 14th Anna Amalia guitar competition is a bi-annual competition for young classical guitarists up to the age of 20 years, organized in three age groups. It exists for more than 25 years and is held for the 14th time in April 2019 and will attract more than 60 young guitarists to take part in one of the oldest international youth competitions for guitar. The event lasts 6 days and also includes concerts and exhibitions.

5000 € will be needed in our much larger budget to mainly cover the expenses for the production of the documentation of the event (DVD).
