Change Everything

This crowdfunding campaign has been set up to support the promotion of the book Change Everything in the US and, with it, the development of the social movement the Economy for the Common Good.

Christian Felber has written 15 books and given speeches all over Europe, in South America and Mexico. In June 2015, the English edition of his book about Economy for the Common Good was launched with the title “Change Everything”.

Going to the US symbolizes a big step for the ECG movement towards becoming an internationally-recognized alternative to our current profit-based economic system. The US tour, the promotion of the English edition and its appearance in US media will help the ECG to gain international recognition.

For these reasons we will be launching a three-month media campaign in the US this summer, which will include a ten-day tour with Christian Felber. He will provide interviews with media outlets, give speeches and meet with civil society organizations and individuals interested in promoting the ECG. The goal is to start a dialog on how to move forward towards an ethics-based economy.

The project goal is to promote the book "Change Everything" in the US in order establish the idea of the ECG in North America.

The long-term goal of the campaign is for this social movement to gain more recognition and support worldwide and to spread the word on its principles.
The stronger the movement, the higher the possibility to foster change.

Therefore, this project is for all of us because through its success, an economy based on the common good will be more feasible.

We all deserve a fairer, more human-based economic system, let's strive for it!

Fierce competiton, accumulation of capital as only goal, growing inequality...our current economic system is upside-down.
The ultimate goal of the economy should be to increase the common good: environmental sustainability, social responsibility, collaboration and economic justice.

Nowadays, if a company applies all of these principles it will most likely run into a competitive disadvantage. Amongst others, the ECG developed a tool that helps companies measure their contribution to the common good - the Common Good Balance Sheet. The more common good a company provides society with, the more advantages it will have: lower taxes, better conditions on loans, etc.

We want a system that REWARDS THOSE WHO DO GOOD - support us if you want it too!

The first 25.000 Euro raised will be used to cover the basic costs of the three-month US campaign:

• PR Agency
• Representatives in the US
• Book launch costs

The 35.000 Euro will allow to cover all the expenses of this venture:

• Christian Felber's presence in the US to give interviews and speeches
• Start the ECG network in the US
• Extend the reach of this campaign: get a to a wider audience thanks to more resources to be invested
• Have a minimum compensation for the people who will have been involved in this project

Everything that goes above the 35.000 Euro will be donated to the Economy for the Common Good, a social movement that is mostly run by volunteers.
