JournAfrica! is Germany's first news portal for journalism from Africa. We deliver a wide range of news and articles from over 50 countries.

Africa - war, famine, catastrophes? The continent is made up of 54 countries, 1 billion people and thousands of languages. But here in Germany we barely hear anything about it. JournAfrica! wishes to change all this: through online journalism written directly on location. On our platform we publish reports from African journalists, bloggers and photographers instead of foreign correspondents. Our aim? To see Africa differently.

Fast die Hälfte nach einer Woche!

Liebe Supporter*Innen von JournAfrica!,

mit 3.370 Euro haben wir dank euch (!!!) bereits fast die Hälfte unseres Crowdfunding-Ziels erreicht! Und das schon nach der ersten Woche! Vielen Dank für eure Unterstützung! Von 500 bis 5 Euro war alles dabei!

Gemeinsam schaffen wir eine nutzerfinanzierte Plattform für Journalismus aus Afrika! Nun geht es in die zweite Woche. Und die soll leider die schwerste sein! Damit das bei uns kein Krampf wird, helft uns und spendet jetzt, damit JournAfrica! 2016 weiter existiert und ausgebaut werden kann.

Wir wollen zeigen, dass nutzerfinanzierter Journalismus funktioniert und dass Afrika mehr ist als Krisen, Kriege und Katastrophen. Kennt ihr noch Menschen, denen unser Anliegen ebenfalls wichtig ist? Dann wäre es super, wenn ihr diesen von JournAfrica! und eurem Engagement erzählen würdet! So können wir vielleicht schon nächste Woche sagen: Ja, JournAfrica! gibt's auch 2016!
