JournAfrica! is Germany's first news portal for journalism from Africa. We deliver a wide range of news and articles from over 50 countries.

Africa - war, famine, catastrophes? The continent is made up of 54 countries, 1 billion people and thousands of languages. But here in Germany we barely hear anything about it. JournAfrica! wishes to change all this: through online journalism written directly on location. On our platform we publish reports from African journalists, bloggers and photographers instead of foreign correspondents. Our aim? To see Africa differently.

Liebe Freundinnen und Freunde von JournAfrica!,

nicht schlecht! Zwei Tage Funding liegen hinter uns und mit 1.715 Euro (stand 17.30 Uhr;) haben wir bereits 21 Prozent unseres Ziels erreicht. 32 Menschen haben uns schon supported und heute durften wir unseren 100. Fan begrüßen.

Mit diesem Rückenwind wollen in die zweite Wochenhälfte gehen! Und dabei zählen wir auf euch! Wir freuen uns weiterhin über eure Werbung und natürlich über eure Spenden! Gerne auch „nur“ 5 oder 10 Euro. Unser ewiger Dank ist euch sicher. ;)

Übrigens gab es erst vor ein paar Tagen wieder einen neuen Artikel von uns in der Frankfurter Rundschau. Es geht um Polizisten aus der DR Kongo, die wieder die Schulbank drücken. Nur am Rande: Wann habt ihr das letzte Mal was aus dem Kongo gelesen? Und um was ging es? Der letzte Eintrag bei Google News jedenfalls ist zwei Monate alt.
