rowHHome - The Movie

Ahoy! We are the filmmakers Silvia (Producer) and Guido (Director) from Hamburg, Germany. With the film project ROWHHOME we want to accompany four women who are facing a special challenge. Timna (25), Meike (32), Cätschi (32) and Steffi (50) are the first German women's teams to take part in the toughest rowing race in the world and in December 2019 they cross the Atlantic in a rowboat. Come on board with us!

In "Club Ahoy" you become part of the crew and miss no more information about the four women and the film project. You make the adventure possible and together we row across the Atlantic.

As a reward for your support you get a cotton sea bag (similar to image). Perfect as sport bag, for shopping or stow on board.

In addition you automatically become a member in the „Club Ahoy“. Here you become part of the crew and don't miss any update about the four woman and the film project.

You get the DVD or a Blu-ray of the cinema documentary about "RowHHome" first. On top you get an exclusively made reward with personal greetings. The 'Club Ahoi' membership is obviously.

You row across the Atlantic! Your name is immortalized in the boat and the girls dedicate a rowed mile to you. As a sponsor of a mile, you will of course also become a member of "Club Ahoy" and receive a certificate with your personal mile.
From three supported miles you will automatically be invited to the farewell evening with the girls.

We put you on the guest list for the emotional and exclusive film premiere in Hamburg. The tickets are not available at the box office and you are part of the first ones who can enjoy the movie.

The girls will capture unforgettable moments from the trip with their camera. The nicest ones will be selected for you and we make a logbook out of it with personal stories and lovely memories.

Ladies only! An exclusive night for all woman who want to get inspired, entertained and want to chat. With insights in the journey/ the preparation, personal talks with the protagonists and producer Silvia, pics, vidoes and surely good drinks.

This night take place in Hamburg on two dates. Once before the start of the girls with a lot of excitement and great anticipation in October 2019 and once after the Atlantic crossing full of relief and pride in April 2020.

An unique cap made with lots of love. Steffi crochets like crazy and creates ten individual caps with a nice pompom/bobble. Perfect for the cold days on the water or on the mountains!

Girls come soon, come home soon!“ Like this or similar the singer Freddy Quinn already said goodbye to the sailors in Hamburg.
If we can sing with the girls on the farewell party we can't promise. But it will be definitely exciting, it's going to be funny and emotional. Together we say „Ahoy“ and say goodbye to Cätschi, Meike, Timna and Steffi shortly before their departure. An evening with exciting stories, good chats and a farewell.

Learn from the professional rowing coach Steffi and a professional team what matters in rowing sport. In a six-hour-long group course you get an insight in basics of rowing techniques and make your first moves on the Alster in Hamburg.

Get first-hand experiences with the high sea suitable rowing boat and the crew!

The girls invite you on their baby. They will show you everything and you will be able ask everything, which is on your mind. If you are suitable you ride with on the water and maybe you can scull as well. The trip takes 2-3 hours.

You get to know Cätschi at her second favourite activity (after rowing): Beer brewing. The brewing class takes around 4 hours and fun is guaranteed in Cätschi's pergola.
After 1-2 weeks your own craft beer (Pale Ale/IPA) will be bottled and after three more weeks you will hold your „RowHHome Summer Breeze“ or „RowHHome – Atlantic Feeling“ six pack in your hands.

We organize multiple small brewing courses before and after the race. Your date we will organize together.

Your club rows over the Atlantic! Whether you are from Hamburg, Germany or somewhere else in the world- your rowing club makes the "RowHHome" adventure possible and becomes a companion.
Your club logo will be on board and the girls row a mile just for your club. As a companion of a mile you will also get an exclusive screening license of the cinema documentary to show the movie in your boat house. Become part of the crew and maybe you are the next to row the Atlantic.
