Der Impact Hub Ruhr ist Teil des weltweiten Impact Hub Netzwerks und seit einem Jahr als Pilot Space in Essen eine Anlaufstelle für Menschen mit Ideen, die Probleme unserer Gesellschaft mit unternehmerischen Mitteln lösen möchten. Wir unterstützen sie dabei und stellen viel mehr als nur einen Arbeitsplatz zur Verfügung.
Im Impact Hub trifft sich eine Community aus Gründer*innen, Kreativen, Unternehmen und Machern, die sich gegenseitig inspiriert, voneinander lernt und gemeinsam neue Projekte startet. Wir geben ihr den Raum, den sie dafür braucht und unterstützen sie mit Workshops, Programmen und Community Veranstaltungen.
Damit wir diesen Lieblingsort weiter auf- und ausbauen können haben wir einen neuen Space bezogen, den wir mit eurer Hilfe nun weiter ausstatten möchten.

Impact Hub Ruhr is part of the world´s largest global network focused on building entrepreneurial communities for impact at scale.
Our pilot space in Essen serves as a venue for coworking and connecting people with various business ideas for sustainable impact. Through our locally connected and globally embedded community of individuals, organizations, and businesses, we come together to create the change we wish to see in the world. Acting as a springboard for exploring ideas, sharing knowledge, and gaining access to essential resources and capital, we are creating a powerful ecosystem to support a new type of economy.
We provide a space vor entrepreneurs, creatives, companies and
start up initiatives to meet and mingle, learn from each other and
start new projects together.
Impact Hub Ruhr equips them with a co-working space but also hosts
community events and rents out venues of different sizes for
workshops and company events.
Lately we had the possibility to expand our space and now we need your help to buy more furniture and a kitchen.
Unser Ziel ist es, die Gründerszene im Ruhrgebiet zu vernetzen, zu beleben und soziales Unternehmertum zu fördern. Außerdem möchten wir eine interdisziplinäre Community an einen Ort bringen, damit sich Ideen in Projekte transformieren und Austausch und Inspiration im alltäglichen Leben stattfinden kann.
Du hast eine Idee oder möchtest dich einfach nur inspirieren lassen? Dann bist du bei uns genau richtig! Wir helfen dir dabei deine Idee zu verwirklichen und bringen dich mit den richtigen Menschen zusammen, so dass dein Projekt fliegen lernt.
Aber auch wenn du angestellt bist, studierst oder als Freelancer unterwegs bist und nicht mehr alleine Zuhause arbeiten möchtest, bist du im Impact Hub Ruhr herzlich willkommen. Wir leben Community und die mögen wir bunt.

Our goal is to network, revive and promote social entrepreneurship in the Ruhr area. We also want to bring an interdisciplinary community to a place where ideas can transform into projects and exchange and inspiration take place in everyday life.
You have an idea or just want to be inspired? Then you are exactly right with us! We help you to realize your idea and bring you together with the right people, so that your project learns to fly.
But even if you are employed, studying or working as a freelancer and do not want to work alone at home, you are very welcome in the Impact Hub Ruhr. We live community and we like it colorful.

The Ruhr area is a very special region in which many a treasure can be raised. Together with you, we want to make the Ruhrgebiet a region that stands for social innovation and sustainable entrepreneurship.
This requires an open place for makers who want to move something in the region. We want to offer them exactly that and also connect them with our regional and international network. Help to make this place possible and to shape the Ruhrgebiet.
Mit den 5000 € werden wir in dem neuen Space eine Küche einrichten, denn die Küche ist das Herzstück unseres Impact Hub Ruhr. Dort isst die Community am Mittwoch gemeinsam den "Sexy Salat" und auch der Skillshare Lunch, das Bier nach 4 oder anderen Formaten finden überwiegend in der Küche statt. Nichts funktioniert im Impact Hub Ruhr ohne eine große Küche.
Darüber hinaus müssen wir unsere neuen Coworking- und Workshopräume mit professionellen Möbeln ausstatten. Dafür brauchen wir mindestens 20 000 €. Wir brauchen z.B. Konferenztische, bequeme und ergonomische Bürostühle, auf denen man gut arbeiten kann, Schreibtische, die ihr anpassen könnt. Und auch Technik, wie einen Beamer oder eine Anlage samt Mikros, damit wir mit euch noch mehr tolle Veranstaltungen und Parties oder Konzerte feiern können.
Neben Möbeln und Technik brauchen wir auch Geld für Handwerker und Materialien, um den neuen Coworking- und Workshopraum individuell und kreativ zu gestalten.

With the 5000 € we will set up a kitchen in the new space, because the kitchen is the centerpiece of our Impact Hub Ruhr. There, the community will be eating the "Sexy Salad" together on Wednesday, where the Skillshare Lunch will take place and also the beer after 4 or other formats will mostly take place in the kitchen. Nothing works in the Impact Hub Ruhr without a large kitchen.
In addition, we also have to equip our new coworking and workshop rooms with professional furniture. For this we need again at least 20 000 €. We need e.g. meeting room tables, comfortable and ergonomic office chairs where you can work well, desks that you can customize. And also technology, such as new projectors or a system including microphones, so that we can celebrate even more great events and parties or concerts with you.
In addition to furniture and technology, we also need money for craftsmen and materials to make the new coworking and workshop space individually and creatively.
Ulrike, Ben und Janna haben den Impact Hub Ruhr im Mai 2017 im Haus der Technik in Essen gegründet. Mittlerweile sind noch Franziska und Imke mit im Team.
Gemeinsam arbeiten wir daran den Impact Hub Ruhr für und mit euch zu gestalten und ein Netzwerk zu knüpfen, das sich ständig vergrößert.
