It is about the formation of a state of mind, love, aliens, mushrooms, fear, music, and the end of the world.
Bender lives in an average, southern residential area. For him - everything looks the same, is the same, feels the same. He is repelled by his parents and attracted to the young Sesil. He can talk only to his big brother Thomas. But unfortunately this brother no longer lives at home. While there are gradually increasing signs of invasion visible to Bender, the relationship to Sesil is getting serious.
Tension arises from the growing conflict between suspicions and clues.

It´s all for you!
For us, it is primarily about the audience. The entertaining Arthaus-/Genre-Mix is for fans of the fantastic film. Nevertheless we want to prove that a genre film may also appeal to a wider audience.
Genre fans beware
You know exactly what the German film lacks most - right - Variety! So who wants to see an extremely good Bodysnatcherfilm of German origin?
Arthousefans look out
You will also find what you are looking for. We use the formal strengths of Arthouse Cinema. So if pure monster horror without content is what you expected, you are wrong. Fans of "Donnie Darko" or "Let the right one in" definitely will find what they´re looking for.
The target group is fans of teen movies, power pop music and what Twilight could have been if it were based on a good novel.
Nirvana Blüte will be entertaining first and foremost, but we take the audience seriously. This is our trust in you!
Nirwana Blüte will be the Bodysnatcher movie we have always wished for. A genre film that asks questions and possibly provides one or the other answers.
Nirvana Blüte gives us the bittersweet, often confusing feeling of growing up.
This inevitable process: On the one hand scary and strange, on the other tempting and beautiful. It is wrong to be afraid of it. For it is only through change and transience that our lives attain value. If you have the same opinion please support us!
