What is this project all about?
For years I have been writing my own songs, that have grown out
of experiences that are precious to me. Songs about hope, fate and
the drive to move on even when everything seems so hopeless. And,
of course, there is always love.
This CD is a mixture of my own songs, self arranged jazz standards and a jazz-pop conglomeration.
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
I would like to reach jazz lovers and those who want to become one.
Jazz is a subculture music that is heard everywhere and for me it is all about the improvising, the experimenting and the creating. My band and I are doing exactly that when we make music together. Our interaction brings moods, rhythms and melodies to life that we grasp and develope further while we are playing. And the "seizing the moment" is what I would like to share with you.
Over the years I have continually met people that "don't like
jazz" but have told me they like what they hear when I sing. Maybe
they can sense that music has helped me through all the tidal waves
in my life.
So that means, "Try it and you may like it!!"
Why would you support this project?
These are my songs and for so long I have been dreaming about recording them and then introducing them to the world and sharing them with others.
If you support me with the collection of the necessary funds, it would truly motivate me to continue on my path to create and experiment. And that just naturally allows me to pass on my experiences to my students, other singers and musicians. On top of that I am so looking forward to showing you the creative potency of my high class musician team.
I would be very happy and grateful!!
How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
The money is necessary for the studio production, new photos (everyone wants to see the singer), the CD design. Apart from my musician crew I have a great team with whom I am working and they are offering me special deals. Thank you! Thank you!
Who are the people behind the project?
For this project I was able to get a hold of three first class, experienced jazz musicians from Hamburg.
Buggy Braune (Piano)
is one of the outstanding jazz pianists from north Germany and professor for jazz at the "Musikhochschule" in Hamburg.
Lucas Lindholm (Bass)
from Sweden is an amazing bass player, professor for jazz at the "Musikhochschule" in Hamburg and former member of the NDR Big Band.
Derek Scherzer (drums)
is the right man for the groove. He played with them all and in the scene he's the man to call if you need a jazz drummer.
And I, Regina Ebinal, connect the band with my voice. And at the same time they are the basis that bring out the fullest potential of my songs. "The guys" and I are really looking forward to this production.
